The experience that I went through to give a kitten a loving home was just unbelievable! I had a cat since I was a little girl and I've always had a cat and bc I didn't give her shots for a few years or couldn't remember if I did, I was not allowed to get a cat (my application was denied). A kitten lost a good home tonight due to judys severity and trying to obtain shot records of a cat that we used to have but passed away. Beware of adopting from this shelter, they have turned away a very loving family that would've gave a kitten a wonderful home.

One of the absolute worst shelters EVER! The woman who runs the shelter treats the animals as if they are just property. Dealing with Judy was insufferable! Apparently it is just a good paycheck for her. They have no regard for life. They put animals down within two to three days of in-take, because that is how they keep making money. They are funded for only seven days worth of shelter, and so after seven days the animals are put down so they can make room for the next cat or dog. Ferals and strays have it the worst. They are just put down without even giving the animals time to adapt to see if they could be adopted out. Oh, and look at the hours. They are hardly even open, so most animals don't even get the chance that they deserve. While I do not agree with declawing a cat, I hardly think that if given a option, that choosing to put the animal down. Also, they do not make it easy to adopt out, because they make people come back for a second and/or third visit as well. With their lack of hours multiple visits is inconvenient, and unnecessary in most cases.
